Brothers In Arms
Lions are most affectionate to their like-sexed companions and remain with their coalition partners throughout their lives. Males defend the pride's territory, marking the area with urine, roaring menacingly to warn intruders, and chasing off animals that encroach on their turf. Lions are highly territorial and occupy the same area for generations.
