Untitled
The Moken are a self-sufficient, nomadic people who are born, live and die at sea. So many of my days there were spent watching Tat dropping through the clear blue of the Andaman Sea, on a single breath, hunting fish, leaping with force from the kabang with his harpoon and pinpoint accuracy. The ocean is the Moken’s home, and they are as much a part of its rhythm as the fish they’ve always hunted.
