امرأة شابّة ترتدي فستاناً صيفياً وتقف ثانيةً ذراعَيها في شارع مهجور. وعند رؤيتها اثنين من رجال الشرطة يرتديان زياً عسكرياً ويتّجهان نحوها، مدّت ذراعَيها ووقفت في مكانها في ثباتٍ تام، وكانت تشعر أنّ ما باليد حيلة بيد أنّ قلبها كان يفيض بالشجاعة، ومحيّاها يشرق بالسلام. وقد جعل المصوّر جوناثان باتشمان من صورة ايشيا ايفانز أيقونة عالميّة تتمتّع بحجمٍ صغير، ولكنّ مضمونها كبير ويحمل في طيّاته قصّة نضالٍ رائعة.
