Untitled
In 1939 US aviator Jimmie Angel became the first westerner to discover the world’s highest single-drop waterfall - now named after him - when his plane crash-landed on the top of Auyantepui and he and his passengers trekked for 11 days to reach the nearest settlement. It was almost dark when I made this 11-second exposure. I wanted the clouds to blur during the capture in order to create a feeling of ‘A lost World’.
