Untitled
In 2013 I was looking for stories about the essence of Brazilian football because the following year the World Cup would take place there. It’s often in the most deprived areas where great players are born, so I travelled to Minas Gerais, one of the poorest regions in the country. I found several excited barefoot kids playing soccer in a dirt field, celebrating goals in an old TV frame and living the dream of being a soccer player.
