Hijacked Education: Iraq
A view shows the impact of an airstrike in an abandoned school located in the recently liberated area of Takh. There are hundreds of schools in northern Iraq that can no longer be used anymore. Iraq’s education system was devastated by ISIS (Daesh), but there’s still hope of avoiding a ‘lost generation.’ Northern Iraq, August 2016.
