Untitled
Growing up in Bangladesh as a young boy, I was always fascinated by the monsoon rains. After nearly 30 years of being absent, I found myself once again back in Bangladesh, carried there by a powerful wave of deep and sudden loss. One day, I discovered by chance that I could shoot photos through the water cascading down my car window. It gave my photos a paint-like quality. They looked impressionistic and the technique afforded them a certain mystery.
