Asha, a 20-year-old female orangutan, is transported from her enclosure under sedation to go for a medical check, in Sibolangit, North Sumatra, Indonesia. She was rescued in 2017 in critical condition after being beaten, and had a broken right hand, fractured hip, and gangrene of the left hand that left her thumb non-functional.

آشا، أنثى من قردة الأورانجوتان تبلغ من العمر 20 عاماً، يتمّ نقلها من قفصها وهي مخدرة لتخضع لفحصٍ طبي في سيبولانجيت، شمال سومطرة، إندونيسيا. تمّ إنقاذها في العام 2017 حين كانت حالتها حرجة بعد أن تعرضت للضرب وكُسرت يدها اليمنى كما عانت كسراً في وركها وغرغرينا في يدها اليسرى وبالتالي فقد إبهامها وظيفته.
