Train hopping in the Sahara
We ended up in the interior of the Sahara and wanted to get to the coast to find some surf. Our most direct way of getting there was to hop on an iron ore train which is considered to be one of the longest trains in the world. We slithered day and night through the desert toward the port of Nouadhibou on the Mauritanian coast. For me, this photo captured the spirit of adventure and exploration through this incredible landscape.
