SANTA COSTANZA
S. Costanza was built around 354 by Constantina as a mausoleum for herself and her sister, Helene, and consecrated as a church in 1254. The interior has an annular vault with 24 paired granite columns with Corinthian capitals that support the 22.5-meter dome. The mosaics in the vault date from the fourth century.

بنت كونستانتينا ضريحاً دعته باسم القديسة كوستانزا حوالي العام 354 لتُدفن فيه مع أختها هيلين، وقد تمّ تكريسه ليصبح كنيسة في العام 1254. يتمتّع الضريح بقنطرة مستديرة مرفوعة على 24 عاموداً من الغرانيت كلّ منها مزيّن بتاجٍ كورنثي، فتحمل القبّة التي تبلغ مساحتها 22.5 متراً، وتزيّنها فسيفساء ترجع إلى القرن الرابع.
