The photo is of Mullah Hilal, who is a muezzin in Umm Masjid Mosque, one of the historical mosques in Iraq. Founded back in 1838, it is located in the Hartha area in the Basra governorate. He is a man who has memorized the Holy Qur’an. In speaking with him, he said, “This land is my breathing space and I consider it my second home.”

الملا هلال، رجلٌ حافظ للقرآن ومؤذن في جامع "أم مسجد" الذي يعد واحداً من المساجد التاريخية في العراق، ويعود تاريخ تأسيسه إلى عام 1838 في منطقة الهارثة في محافظة البصرة. يظهر الملا هلال هنا وهو يقوم بعمله اليومي حيث كان يفرز حبوب الفجل، وأثناء حديثي معه قال: "هذه الأرض هي متنفسي، ووطني الثاني."
