Pikin, a lowland gorilla who has been rescued from the bush meat trade in Cameroon, is transported from a vet clinic to a larger sanctuary enclosure. Though she was sedated, she woke up early. Luckily, because she was in the arms of her loving caretaker Appolinaire Ndohoudou, she remained calm and drifted back to sleep.

بيكين هي أحد حيوانات غوريلا السهول التي تمّ إنقاذها من الكاميرون حيث كان من الممكن أن تقع ضحيّة التجارة بلحوم حيوانات الأدغال، ونُقلت بعدها من العيادة البيطريّة إلى محمية أكبر. استيقظت الغوريلا بسرعة بالرّغم من أنّها كانت مخدّرة، ولكنّها رأت نفسها بين يدي حارسها أبولينير ندوهودو الحنون، فظلّت هادئةً وعادت إلى النوم.
