Even though they have the opportunity to get jobs with good salaries in Hindu temples in urban areas to take care of temple elephants, they never leave their original homelands.

إلى جانب قبيلة كورومبا، تشارك بعض القبائل الأخرى من كاتو نياكار ومالاسار أيضاً في ترويض الفيلة في غاتس الغربية في الهند.



وعلى الرغم من أنّ لديهم فرصة لاستلام وظائف برواتب جيدة في المعابد الهندوسية في المناطق الحضرية لرعاية فيلة المعبد، إلا أنّهم لا يغادرون أوطانهم الأصلية أبداً.
