سُجن رجلٌ من مجموعة هوتو العرقية في معسكر اعتقال عقب عدم تأييده للإبادة وكان يتضوّر جوعاً ويتعرض للاعتداء بالمناجل. حررته قوات التوتسي المتمردة ووضعته في رعاية الصليب الأحمر.
