LM Intrepid above the Moon in preparation for powered descent. Conrad: “Boy, this thing sure flies nice . . ." At 6,000 feet, Conrad caught a glimpse of their target, Snowman: “There it is! Son of a gun! Right down the middle of the road!” Despite significant dust obscuring the view, Conrad used his ​­8-​­ball to guide Intrepid to a safe landing. Gordon: “Congratulations from Yankee Clipper . . . Have a ball!”
