Juny, center, was the attorney for the bicycle protest group. As the weeks passed, she assumed more of a leadership role on the rides. She ensured that one ride late in the summer was dedicated to women—the men were instructed to hang back and let the women lead. Everyone wore pink that day. It was one of the “best vibes” rides. كانت جوني، في الوسط، محامية مجموعة الاحتجاجات على الدرّاجات الهوائية. مع مرور الأسابيع، تولّت دوراً قيادياً بامتياز خلال الجولات. وقد حرصت على تخصيص جولة في وقتٍ متأخّر من الصيف للنساء، حيث طُلب من الرّجال التخلّي عن دورهم القيادي ليومٍ واحد وترك القيادة للنساء. ذاك اليوم، ارتدى الجميع اللون الزهري. وكانت تلك من الجولات التي تخلّلتها "أروع الأجواء" على الإطلاق. مانهاتن، أغسطس 2020.
