Free diver Mike Dornellas inspects a blue shark caught on a longline off the coast of South Africa. Longlines are an indiscriminate fishing method and are one of the greatest threats facing sharks today. The sharks that are caught are then exported around the world and are often served in restaurants as ‘flake’ or ‘dogfish.’

الغطاس الحر مايك دورنيلاس يعاين قرشاً أزرق تمّ اصطياده بالخيوط الطويلة قبالة ساحل جنوب إفريقيا. يعد الصيد بالخيوط الطويلة طريقةً عشوائية في الصيد وهو أحد أكبر التهديدات التي تواجهها أسماك القرش حالياً. بعد ذلك، يتمّ تصدير أسماك القرش في جميع أنحاء العالم وتقديمها في المطاعم باسم "فليك" أو "كلب البحر".
