in 2021 I spent several days capturing the mountain peaks around the Khan Tengri Basecamp around 4000m. From there, I could see several 7000m+ peaks, and I got to spend time with mountain climbers that were waiting for a weather window the continue climbing the giants around. I would spend hours just sitting outside looking for patches of light hitting the peaks around me, resulting in many intimate photos of the mountain peaks.
