"لا أستطيع نزع القناع عن وجهي، لأن ذلك قد يعرّض عائلتي وأصدقائي وممتلكاتي للخطر في بلادي".
"حيث يولد المرء ويترعرع، ذاك هو موطنه. لقد دُفن المرحوم والدي في المنطقة التي كنّا نسكنها، وإذا لم أستطع التواصل مع تراث أجدادي، أشعر بالضياع. ثمّة حالة انعدام يقين تخيّم على الأجواء، ولا أحد يعلم كيف ستسير الأمور".
لقد اتخذوا من دولة إفريقية أخرى موطناً، ولكنّهم يشعرون بأن موطنهم الحقيقي سيبقى جنوب الكاميرون دوماً.
