ماركوس بليسدال مصور وثائقي مشهور عالمياً يستخدم عمله للتأثير على صانعي السياسات من حول العالم. بعد أن أمضى الأعوام العشرين الماضية في توثيق بعضٍ من أكثر الحروب وحشيةً في العالم، ركّز ماركوس طاقاته على شنّ حملات ضد انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان. وقد قام بتوثيق هذه القضايا لصالح منظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش كما أنه مصور مساهم في مجلة ناشيونال جيوغرافيك.
