A male proboscis monkey in a pose similar to Rodin’s famous sculpture The Thinker, resting his huge nose on his silver-gloved hand. Over the years I have photographed several primate species in similar postures and I really like the symbolism of it. When you spend time with monkeys, in particular socially advanced species such as the proboscis monkey, you cannot help but notice how intelligent they are. Sabah, Borneo.
