There is no experience more incredible than photographing a volcano erupt in the endless snow plains of Iceland, nor one more rewarding. Volcano Eruption in Geldingadalir in 2021 was an opportunity I could not miss. It took several visits to this incredible sight of the earth’s primordial power before I was able to attain a shot that revealed the extent of its magnificence and potential.
