A rising swell reveals a secret coral garden on Opal Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s most iconic coral reef, A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only living structure visible from space. Rising sea temperatures resulted in severe coral bleaching and coral death in 2016, 2017 and 2020.
